An collective exhibition of an interesting and unusual selection of artworks by six talented artists.

Tashi Khan

Tashi's work is a dialogue in contemporary times, a narrative that resonates a sense of precariousness that has come to signify our times. The focus shifts from the changes that are observable and felt to those that are often unacknowledged and immutable, a sense that the beliefs and certainties that defined our world have changed irrevocably.

Johanne

Johanne creates feel good art: colourful, lyrical paintings. Her inspiration is from her family background, Trinidadian/Irish born in the UK, each place conjuring up very special images. She is an expressive artist, her current collection of work is of a tropical and vibrant nature. Flamingos take centre stage, her alter ego perhaps, recently featuring in the ‘Flamingo about Town’ series. 

Naïg Desmadriguen

Naïg Desmadriguen is a painter who explores the role nature plays in mythology from theatre to opera. She uses a variety of techniques from lithography to monotype. Naig draws on wide-ranging literary themes, developing different female myths and her artworks investigate connections with notions of space and time.

Simona Elena Tacu

Simona Elena Tacu is from Romania and she has always been fascinated by nature. Through her work she sends a message of kindness, value, feelings and positive vibes.

Marcela Olivia Dorantes

Marcela Olivia Dorantes is an artist that works between London, and Washington DC and she has been painting since early childhood. She examines the interactions of wildlife, domestic animals and humans to express the experience of expansiveness, intimacy, domesticity and remoteness through her keen sense of space, shape, color and form.

Vera Akotuah

Vera Akotuah has a great interest in the human form in ways in which style and creativity can be expressed. She enjoys working with dry mediums like charcoal and pastel because they are quick and instant. More recently Vera has been working with flat colour influenced by the works of David Hockney and also Alex Katz.
