Safer food, better business (SFBB)
Safer food, better business (SFBB) is an innovative and practical approach to food safety management. It has been developed to help small businesses comply with food hygiene regulations and to put into place food safety management procedures.
A food safety management pack has been developed by the Food Standards Agency to help restaurants, cafés, takeaways and other small catering businesses implement and train staff on SFBB, helping businesses to comply with food hygiene regulations. It includes an introduction to food hygiene ‘Working with food? What you need to know before you start’. The pack is available in 16 different languages and can be downloaded from the FSA website. There are also several online training videos available..
Read the guide on the Food Standards Agency website. Businesses can keep and complete records on a computer, or print them out for filling in.
