The Natural History Museum is not only an international leader in the study of the natural world, but for over 25 years we have also played host to some of London’s most spectacular weddings.
Having recently been granted a licence for Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships, for the first time ever we are able to offer couples the opportunity to say ‘I do’ in London’s most iconic venue.
We are delighted to have licenced 12 of our unique spaces, which can be used for ceremonies alone, reception-only celebrations, or both.

In order to be married or enter into your civil partnership at one of our approved venues, you must first make a booking with the venue of your choice and then contact us at Kensington and Chelsea Register Office to ensure that you book registrars to attend your ceremony. This means in addition to the fees charged by the venue for your ceremony, you will also need to pay the fees for registrars to attend. Once you have confirmed availability with your approved venue and you have booked and accepted their fee, you can then book the registrars. Our fees are below:
