Premises confirmation
Before you start the form, please read and confirm the following.
I understand that:
- The premises will be inspected for suitability before approval is granted and if this application is successful will be subject to a subsequent inspection
- A public notice of the application placed on the approved venues section of webtest.rbkc.gov.uk/registrars for a period of 21 days for objections.
- I am applying for the premises named on this application to be approved for regular use by the public as a venue for civil ceremonies in the presence of a Superintendent Registrar.
- Approval, if granted, will be for a three or five year period, subject to revocation
- The premises must satisfy the Local Authority on fire precautions and health and safety provisions
I declare that:
- The building has no recent or continuing religious connection
- The premises will be regularly available for public use as a venue for marriage ceremonies and civil partnership registrations
- I will comply with the standard conditions stated on the licence.
- I understand that this application must be made by the proprietor or a trustee of the premises and that, if successful, I will be the holder of the approval.
