Pay online

Use this online form to pay your rent for temporary accommodation. 

To pay your rent online you will need:

  • your 'T' reference
  • the postcode of the temporary accommodation that links to the 'T' reference you use
  • your email address
  • a credit or debit card (we accept Mastercard, Visa and Maestro credit and debit cards)

If you do not have your 'T' reference or you are not sure of the postcode, please call us on 020 7361 3986 and we will be able to help you.

You can make payments by the automated payment line;

  • call: 020 3974 4670
  • select ‘Option 7’ to make the payment
  • key in your whole T Reference excluding the ‘T’.
Standing Order

 

A standing order is a convenient way to pay regular bills such as your rent. You instruct your bank to pay a regular amount to the Council. Your bank will automatically credit the Council’s bank account with the amount you state at regular intervals (for example, every week, fortnightly, fourweekly or every month).

You will need to set up the standing order with your bank. They will ask for the Council’s bank details:

  • Account number: 25062697

  • Bank: NATWEST PLC
  • Branch: Kensington Royal Gardens
In Person

 

You can make a payment in person by using the cash machines at the Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London, W8 7NX from Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5pm).

Cheque

 

Cheques should be sent to: The Income Team, Housing Needs, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, Town Hall, Hornton Street, London, W8 7NX and should be made payable to The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Payzone outlets

 

We currently are unable to provide new rent cards to make payments at Payzone outlets. However, if you were provided with a rent card prior to 2018, you are still able to make payments at the Payzone outlets with your rent card.

You can find your nearest Payzone outlet online at www.payzone.co.uk .

With all methods, to ensure that the payment reaches your account please quote your ‘T’ reference number. If you do not have your 'T' reference, are worried about paying your rent, rent arrears, or have any questions, please contact the Income Team on 020 7361 3986 as soon as possible.
