'This work uses the modern medium of photography to layer the present day of Her Majesty the Queen with echoes of the Tudor past. Her Majesty the Queen has reigned for seventy years, the Platinum Jubilee celebrates the longest reign in British history. She is a figure of universal respect and symbol of stability. Both Elizabeth 1 and Elizabeth 11 came to the throne at 25. Elizabeth 1 reigned for 45 years, bringing peace, and died at 70.'
Camilla has lived in RBKC for over 40 years. She has been practising as a photographic artist for more than 35 years, exhibiting widely in solo and group shows, and winning numerous awards. She is also a life member of the Chelsea Arts Club, has had four Solo Exhibitions in the foyer of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and is an active member of New Horizons on the Guinness Estate and of various groups at the Chelsea Theatre.
